Holbox : Our Island Adventure

I never wanted to leave Holbox; it’s sleepy pace and dreamy sunsets sink you into a state of deep relaxation that is hard to snap out of. The island is just so colourful and beautiful.

There are no cars on Holbox; instead, people travel by bicycle or golf cart. One day we rented a golf cart and headed off to Punta Mosquito (ominous name) where we had fun wading out in the shallow water and watching the wildlife.

On another part of the island we watched a guy kitesurfing and took a break from relaxing to relax some more in these ocean hammocks…

We stayed in this great hostel called Ida y Vuelta, in basic cabins which have everything you could need…

Time slows down when you’re on Holbox and it was a sad day when we had to say goodbye to this little paradise…
